With Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch being given the opportunity to jab back and forth at one another this week, a lot was made of the fact that SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley wasn’t given the opportunity to do the same.

Bayley has been on a roll ever since turning heel, and with her new look and attitude, it really is starting to feel like she could be a consistent, high-level player in the women’s division even after walking away from her babyface persona.

One thing that Bayley wanted to make crystal clear to both Baszler and Lynch on Twitter was that simply put, she isn’t someone that can or should be underestimated.

Despite many fans believing that Bayley wasn’t given much of a fair booking shot prior to her heel turn, it is true that she has been far more successful than most people realise.

Whether or not she has a chance to actually win the upcoming bout at Survivor Series is a different matter altogether, but one thing is for sure: she’s in a position whereby it’s clear to see she is being given a bit more creative freedom. If she can continue to build on this, then the sky is the limit for her under this new character.

The next step for Bayley is going to be attempting to prove herself as the best women’s champion in WWE when she faces both women in a mouth-watering triple threat match that has been scheduled to take place at Survivor Series.
