WWE has just announced that Natalya and Lacey Evans will square off tomorrow night in the first ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia.

There have been plenty of questions as to whether or not this moment would ever come, after the last few shows in Saudi Arabia didn’t feature women competing. Now, though, it’s become a reality.

The first step was Renee Young being part of the commentary team, and now, WWE has been able to take it to the next level.

Evans and Natalya have been involved in a series of matches over the last few months, with many fans wondering when the feud was going to end. Now, though, instead of people wishing they’d go away, they’ll be waiting to see what transpires in this history-making match.

Given the nature of how things work over there it seems likely that Evans, in particular, will get some form of attire change for one night only. Regardless of that, though, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of a reception WWE gets for managing to pull this off.

While it’s certainly a monumental moment and will hopefully inspire plenty of the women watching in the crowd to pursue their dreams, we can’t get away from the fact that women’s rights over there still aren’t what they should be.

Plus, the fact that WWE is still deciding to go ahead with their shows in Saudi Arabia after everything that has happened comes across as being a little bit questionable to say the least.
