Scott Dawson On Companies Not Following Rules Of Tag Team Wrestling

Tag team wrestling has its own psychology attached to it that has been greatly neglected by a number of people through the years. At this point, old school tag team wrestling is rare, but The Revival are an exception to that rule.

One fan pointed out how Jim Cornette spoke about the rules of a tag team wrestling match on commentary during NWA Powerrr. Scott Dawson chimed in to discuss how important those rules are.

All tag matches have very specific rules. If they aren’t enforced by the promotion (all promotions) or followed by the wrestlers, tag wrestling isn’t special at all. There is a certain art to it all.

At this point in time, The Revival have not re-signed WWE contracts. We’ll have to see if FTR ends up elsewhere, but in the meantime, they’re still Top Guys in WWE.
