Bray Wyatt continues to be one of the most intriguing characters in all of professional wrestling – although it’s difficult to ignore the fact that he has lost a great deal of momentum over the course of the last few weeks.
That was compounded last night as Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House was destroyed by his Crown Jewel opponent Seth Rollins, in a move that many believe made Seth look like more of a heel than he has done in quite some time.
In typical Bray fashion he took the time to respond to the chaos on social media, seemingly sending a stark warning to The Architect as we look ahead to their Universal Championship showdown in Saudi Arabia.
It still seems pretty unlikely that The Fiend will be able to take the belt off of Seth, and even if he does, it isn’t going to have anywhere near the same kind of impact as it would’ve done if WWE had been able to pull the trigger at Hell in a Cell.
Both men are doing their best to turn their booking situation into a positive, but there’s only so much that they can do when WWE appears to be tying their hands together from a creative standpoint.
The WWE Universe is still obviously excited to see what they’re going to produce at Crown Jewel, and then probably again at Survivor Series, but few are holding out hope that Bray will be able to turn things around once and for all.
