WWE held night one of the 2019 Draft last night and a few people found new homes. The blue brand also crowned a new Women’s Champion as Bayley defeated Charlotte Flair not a week after her 10th reign as Champion started at Hell In A Cell.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it’s still unclear who will go where in night two of the WWE Draft. That being said, the conclusion of this week’s show gave a big clue that The Queen might be ruling a new kingdom soon enough.
“Vince does like to beat people that he’s gonna move to the other show and I thought when this was over that it felt like Baron Corbin might go to SmackDown, but the one I really sensed that with — which is weird because she’s done nothing but promotion for SmackDown for six months — is Charlotte Flair because of the way she lost I thought she might be going to Raw.”
“Paul Heyman’s like a huge Charlotte Flair fan so that makes sense, but it’s like she’s been doing nothing but promotion on FOX for so long and then they start and they move her is, you know, but if she was staying she could have lost, but would she have lost that way?”
The 2019 WWE Draft will continue on Monday, October 14th. We will also continue to have on-going coverage right here at Ringside News.
The Draft isn’t over yet and even the first night left a bunch of unclaimed free agents. This could be a very interesting time backstage in WWE.
