Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman closed out WWE Raw this week and there was a lot of chaos. Now the two are slated to face each other at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 31st.
Dave Meltzer noted during Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury is slated to be a singles match. When asked about the experience that Fury has and the fact that he couldn’t throw any worked punches last night during Raw, he had a very interesting answer.
“This match will be in Saudi Arabia and that’s a very low bar. Look, the last time they were in Saudi Arabia we had The Undertaker vs Bill Goldberg’s match. So, it’s like crappy matches and Saudi Arabia go hand in hand together. I mean, we always have them. So yeah, I guess it’ll be a struggle.”
We’ll have to see how WWE escalates things before October 31st, but the plan is for Fury and Strowman to get each other’s hands. Let’s just hope for the best as Tyson Fury steps into the ring for his first actual match on a very big stage.
