During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Adam Cole’s injury. He might not have a broken wrist, but he is actually injured which is the reason he has been taking it light for the past few weeks.

“I don’t know if it’s really a broken wrist, but he was really hurt about a month ago and that’s why he hasn’t been wrestling. So, he does have a wrist injury. I’m not sure what the extent of it is, but I was under the impression that he shouldn’t be wrestling, but he was.”

Triple H said during the NXT pre-show that Matt Riddle fractured a bone in Adam Cole’s wrist when he locked on the Bromission last week. It turns out that Cole’s injury was sustained even before that, but he was medically cleared so as a fighting champion he had work to do.
