WWE is bringing a very big show to their SmackDown debut on Fox. They obviously want to pop a huge rating and have booked a few pay-per-view caliber matches just days before the Hell In A Cell event.

One big match that was made official for the October 4th debut is a ladder match. This won’t be any normal ladder match because Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon will battle with a loser leaves town stipulation.

Wrestling News reports that the plan is for Shane McMahon to lose and exit WWE television as an authority figure. WWE wants to present a sports-like product as they go to Fox, therefore, they don’t need the usual shenanigans of the non-wrestling Shane McMahon.

It will be interesting to see how WWE ends up booking this match, but it isn’t expected that Kevin Owens is going anywhere.
