WWE Universal Title Match Set For RAW Next Week

WWE Raw featured a #1 contender’s match to determine who will face Seth Rollins for the Universal Title next week.

Rey Mysterio vs Robert Roode vs AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ricochet was the match and each Superstar brought everything they had to the table. This was also an elimination match so they were able to really stretch this one out.

Ricochet was eliminated first followed by Shinsuke Nakamura. Robert Roode then took out AJ Styles with a Glorious DDT. Roode and Mysterio were the final two left and the crowd was red hot by this point.

After a little back and forth, Rey Mysterio picked up the win to become #1 contender. This means that Seth Rollins will put the WWE Universal Title on the line against Seth Rollins next week on Raw.

Let’s just see if Bray Wyatt’s Fiend lets them actually have a match.
