Kenny Omega had a lot to say about NXT competing with AEW. He said they are developmental talent while All Elite Wrestling will have real stars. It didn’t take very long at all for someone from NXT to respond.
Dominik Dijakovic from NXT replied back to Omega. Obviously, he didn’t appreciate The Cleaner’s remarks. On this week’s Being The Elite, Omega took a chance to reply to Dijakovic on the BTE Mailbag segment.
Omega apologized to the fans and he admitted to being disrespectful. After saying that he humiliated himself on social media, he said that you can’t go back after he crossed that line.
After he apologized, the camera cut off and then Omega really spoke his mind after laughing about the initial apology.
“That’ll hold those f*cking SOBs, right? That’ll hold those SOBs. I was thinking that if this was going to be a formal apology that maybe I should write something down, we got a PR guy I could call. There’s so much damage done. Jesus Christ, TK is fuming. Then I would see so many burner accounts from the wrestlers and I know it’s from the wrestlers because they’re even bigger marks than the people who fill the seats.”
“Damnit, come at me, bro. You think I’m hiding? You think I have fake accounts? What’s the problem? Why are you so scared? I’ll tell you one guy I’ll give a little bit of credit, some ROH guy — tall, lanky guy — Donovan… name starts with a ‘D.’ I don’t even know what it is. He’s not even used — But I can see him, Donovan dickhead, right? Sitting there [responding] now Triple H will push me, I’m gonna get the TV time… now I’m gonna stand up for the team.”
This new version of Kenny Omega might appear to be a little unhinged, but that appears to be what they’re going for. Let’s just see how things proceed as All Elite Wrestling makes their way to TNT on October 2nd.
