Charlotte Flair On Ric Flair Embarrassing Her In High School

Everyone has embarrassing stories about their parents, but not everyone has Ric Flair as a father.

Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair took part in a Q&A with Cricket Wireless on Tuesday night. This is why The Nature Boy was shown on television. During that time together, Charlotte told a pretty embarrassing story about her father.

It can’t be easy to have The Nature Boy as your father, especially when everyone knows this. Charlotte revealed that it was common knowledge who her father was by the time she reached her freshman year of high school. She was going for the varsity volleyball team and needed to tryout because she was trying to get on the senior-heavy squad.

During the hardest part of the tryout, everyone had to run a mile. Charlotte said that she had a little extra motivation from her father who happened to show up.

Ric Flair apparently stood behind a fence with his coffee and when Charlotte ran by, he would keep pace with her and scream encouragement like “run faster!”

This was humiliating for Charlotte, but she also revealed that it might have worked, because The Queen made the varsity volleyball squad as a freshman.
