Luke Harper’s return to WWE television during Clash Of Champions was the biggest surprise of the night for some fans. That doesn’t mean he will be around for much longer.

Harper tried to get his WWE release months ago, but it was declined. Then six months was added to his WWE contract because of time he missed due to injury. That is still something he needs to work off of his contract.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that although Harper is involved in one of WWE’s biggest storylines, he has yet to re-sign a new contract with the company.

His contract was set to be up “in a few months,” but you also need to add around six months to that “few months.” We’ll have to see what happens down the line with Harper, but he still has a bit of time left on his WWE contract to decide what he wants to do.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
