Cedric Alexander is primed to get a push in WWE, but Paul Heyman is reportedly looking for a slow-push situation. It might as well be a slow start as well, because Alexander also needs a chance to take everything in.
While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Cedric Alexander noted how he was scared to be in such a highlight situation, especially at Madison Square Garden. He got to share beers with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin which is something he never thought would happen in his career.
“It’s scary. It’s one of those things that I never thought would happen, but now that it is it’s almost unbelievable. I try to describe how I feel about this, about being closer and closer to the top of WWE, things like Madison Square Garden and to share a beer with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and to get a win over AJ Styles it’s almost like sensory overload, everything is happening so fast.”
“To me, it just means that all of the hard work that I have done over the past 10 years doesn’t go in vain.”
AJ Styles made very quick work with Cedric Alexander during the Clash Of Champions kickoff show. We’ll just have to see if there is more story to write for Alexander before everything is said and done.
