WWE made a big decision when they moved NXT to the USA Network for a live two-hour show. This will counter program AEW, even if WWE claims that AEW is actually counter programming them.

Next month could be a big transitional period for WWE as they settle into new television contracts. This will also reportedly nix the Wild Card Rule and create actual concrete rosters.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that even though NXT will be on USA Network, it’s still not going to be equal. This means that Superstars will be called up from NXT just like always and it could be happening soon.

It was written while discussing the upcoming transition expected in October:

Even though NXT will be on television, the idea of bringing up guys from NXT to the main roster, being Raw and Smackdown, will continue, as opposed to NXT being its own third major league brand . There are plans for people to be called up.

It appears that WWE’s main roster could be calling a few NXT Superstars up as they adjust to exclusive brand rosters in October.

Meltzer went on to say that Corey Graves could have to pick a brand as Renee Young might be moved into a new position on camera with WWE on FS1.

There might be several more changes in the coming months and we thank you for reading all about it right here on Ringside News.
