One of the most anticipated matches heading into All Out this weekend will see Shawn Spears go head to head with former best friend Cody Rhodes, and it’s quite clear to see that he’s fired up about it.

Win or lose Shawn has done himself the world of good by making the move to All Elite Wrestling, and it truly does feel like this is only the beginning. Now that he’s added Tully Blanchard into the mix, it feels like the only way is up for the man formerly known as Tye Dillinger.

One of the best things he’s doing right now is keeping his character going on social media, ruffling quite a few feathers in the process.

Spears is considered to be the favourite in his match against Cody by a lot of fans, many of whom think Spears could go on to challenge for the AEW World Championship if he is able to get his hand raised.

Even if he doesn’t, though, his trajectory is certainly looking good. He’s still in the prime of his career, he’s in tremendous shape, and his character work is coming along nicely to go with his performances in the ring.

Cody, on the other hand, has been a bit quieter in the lead-up to this bout – almost as if he’s going to let his work in the ring do the talking for him.

So buckle up – because we’re expecting this one to get pretty physical this weekend in Chicago between the two former pals.
