Pete Dunne Shows Interest In Cesaro Appearing At NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff

Former WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne seems to be slowly making his way over to NXT from NXT UK, but it certainly seems as if he’s still going to be keeping an eye on how things are going over there.

WWE superstar Cesaro recently made it known to his fans that he is planning on heading to NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff this weekend, in order to get a more ‘hands-on’ experience of what it’s like to be at one of their events.

This has led many fans to believe that he will eventually wrestle for the brand, as main roster superstars continue to go back and forth between RAW, SmackDown Live and NXT/NXT UK.

One possible dream match for fans to salivate over is the one that has been heavily teased in the following tweet: Pete Dunne vs Cesaro.

There’s a chance that this is nothing more than a tease, but even if that’s the case, many fans are already off to the races with fantasy booking possibilities.

It seems virtually impossible to think about a scenario in which these two would have a bad match with one another, purely because of their respective records.

Dunne has been having high quality matches throughout his entire WWE run, whereas Cesaro has a history of working with NXT-related British stars: with his William Regal feud putting him on the map in a big way.

Now, he could wind up elevating Dunne to levels that we haven’t seen him reach in WWE just yet.
