Possible Spoiler For King Of The Ring Tournament Next Week

WWE brought back the King Of The Ring tournament to push one Superstar specifically, however, you never know when WWE might change their plans. It does seem that they set something up for next week as the tournament progresses.

Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE wrote a leg injury into the storyline for Cedric Alexander. This likely means that Baron Corbin will have something to zero in on next week which could help him progress even further in the tournament.

“They did a thing where they gave [Cedric Alexander] an injury that Corbin can work on for next week. They were setting that up so that was good.”

The King Of The Ring Tournament could see a heel winning since the title of “King” is often reserved for bad guys.

WWE has surprised us before, but we will just have to wait and see what they decide to do. It certainly appears that Cedric Alexander has an uphill battle next week as if wrestling Baron Corbin wasn’t already a huge challenge.
