AJ Styles ended up in WWE after a long career, and now he will end it under Vince McMahon’s roof.
While speaking to Chasing Glory, AJ Styles was 100% positive that the most recent WWE contract he signed will be his last. He wants to retire and there is no convincing him to sign another one no matter what happens.
“I had no doubt that you know this is what I was going to do for my career. It really was. And you couldn’t have told me any different. And I can tell you that the contract that I signed, here in the WWE, is my last. This is it for me. This is where I’m going to end my career no matter what happens. I got to, you know? I want to be there for my kids.”
AJ Styles didn’t say anything about not signing a Legend’s contract which could keep him within the WWE Universe for decades to come. It would also keep royalty checks coming in from WWE.
This isn’t anything new though because he has stated in the past that he doesn’t plan on signing a new contract. That also rules out a possible AEW run if he sticks to his guns.
