WWE Trademarks Matt Riddle’s Name

WWE likes to make sure that they own practically everything that they use on television. Now that NXT is coming to the USA Network they are locking down some key names.

The company recently filed trademarks for seven names. Five of those names belong to NXT Superstars including Matt Riddle. WWE has copyrighted legal names of Superstars in the past with John Cena being a famous example.

Another interesting name that the company copyrighted was Aliyah which is surprising because she’s been in NXT for so long and they are just now locking down her name.

WWE also copyrighted WALTER and they finally got a copyright on the IIconics name as well.
