Jon Moxley won’t be able to work AEW’s All Out event and that is a huge bummer for his fans. Now Moxley will have to wait for his elbow to heal before he gets to compete in an AEW ring once again.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Moxley contracted his MRSA infection on his left elbow while he was in Japan. After all, Moxley just competed in a brutal G1 Climax Tournament overseas.

“Moxley’s got the MRSA infection in his left elbow which he picked up in Japan and you know that’s nothing to mess with. They say four weeks and then he’ll be okay. He’ll be ready to wrestle on the first AEW television show.”

“The Kenny Omega/ Moxley match will likely be on their next pay-per-view after All Out if not you know they could also put it on television. I’m not sure that putting it on television is the worst idea.”

“I don’t know what their decision will be, but they’re definitely going to be doing Kenny Omega and Moxley, you know very shortly after he’s back.”

Jon Moxley’s elbow will heal up, but it still won’t help him make All Out. At this time his Starrcast appearance has not been addressed either.

Moxley’s involvement with AEW was a big news item when he surprised us all at Double Or Nothing, but aside from a non-sanctioned match against Joey Janela at Fyter Fest, Mox has yet to compete in an official AEW match.

It is getting to be understandable that AEW might not want their stars risking injury or ailment by competing outside of their company.
