Jon Moxley is unable to work at All Out due to a nasty MRSA infection on his elbow, but it didn’t take AEW long to come up with a replacement.

Pac will be wrestling Kenny Omega now and that is going to be a great match, however, it will be a much different match than one The Cleaner was preparing for.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that AEW also likely blew one of their big surprises at All Out with this booking change. They were going to shock fans with the Bastard Pac showing up, but now he’s being promoted in advance.

“I’m pretty sure that Pac was gonna be on that show doing a surprise run-in, so it does hurt that surprise element. I don’t know if that was going to be the only surprise, but I was under the impression that was going to be the big surprise — him. So, it kinda hurts that because you don’t have the big surprise, but look you get an injury, you gotta do what you do. I think it’s a pretty suitable replacement.”

All Out is still going to be a loaded event and you know The Elite will do anything to prove that they deserve the focus they are receiving. Hopefully, it generates some great attention that they can use on their way to October 2nd’s TNT debut, even if they had to reveal Pac’s surprise involvement a little bit earlier than they initially planned.
