CM Punk hasn’t expressed much interest in coming back to pro wrestling to be an active competitor. Talking about it is another story.

Punk has been working on his commentary career for a while now as he took part in MMA events. He recently had an unfortunate fan encounter on commentary as well.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that CM Punk’s agent has reached out to Fox about a co-hosting gig for an upcoming FS1 talk show. Whether this is talking about the upcoming WWE talk show on FS1 remains to be seen.

What we do know that is interesting is that CAA, which represents Punk and also represents WWE, has had an agent reach out to FOX head honchos about Punk as a co-host of the upcoming new FS 1 talk show.

If this deal happens then CM Punk would be working for Fox and not WWE, but the overall thought is that Vince McMahon’s company wouldn’t like this arrangement. Then again, “things change daily.”

It was also reported that “there have been no negotiations at all regarding that” regarding CM Punk working on such a show. This is simply something that has been suggested by CM Punk’s representation.

This situation is speculation at this point, but someone close to the story did say that CM Punk could land himself a very fine deal if this went through.

FS1’s upcoming WWE talk show is expected to be on Tuesdays with Renee Young as the rumored host.
