One of the most notable alterations on Monday Night RAW outside of the ring was the presence of Vic Joseph on commentary. The 205 Live announcer received a great deal of praise for his performance, with many saying that he balanced Michael Cole out pretty well.

Joseph has been around for quite some time, slowly building his way up through the ranks in an attempt to one day commentate on Monday Night RAW – and now, he has achieved that goal.

One man who believed in him from the start was his good friend Johnny Gargano, who took the time to pay tribute to Vic on social media.

Underdog stories in professional wrestling are almost always associated with the wrestlers themselves, but that doesn’t always need to be the case. Sometimes, if you’re a hard worker and you’re talented enough, you can do anything you put your mind to in this business.

Vic probably won’t receive any kind of full-time call-up just yet, as the commentary scene is pretty crowded on Monday nights right now. Even with that being the case, though, he’s certainly made a statement and given the higher-ups something to think about.

There are a lot of steps to go on this journey for Joseph if he wants to lock down a consistent role on RAW, but we’re quite excited to see how that trajectory goes.

With SmackDown Live’s big move to FOX coming up in just a few months time, who knows what changes WWE may make.
