WWE made a big change when Paul Heyman was appointed as the new Executive Director of Raw. It turns out that Cedric Alexander is really a fan of this new leadership as well.
While speaking to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Cedric Alexander opened up about Paul Heyman’s role on Raw. He said that having Heyman around backstage has made it more comfortable for him because Paul Heyman seems to really be a fan of his.
Alexander also spoke about how Paul Heyman has given him a lot of pointers when it comes to cutting a promo in front of live crowds.
“It’s been great working with Paul. He’s really helped me feel more comfortable. He saw a match I had with Bobby Roode months ago on an episode of Main Event and he was a very big fan of it. He’s given me pointers on how to project myself better to fans and small little show business quirks. Because that’s one of the things I’m not 100% comfortable on sometimes, so talking in front of a camera is something that Paul has definitely helped me get more in tune with.”
We previously reported that Paul Heyman is pulling for Cedric Alexander backstage in WWE. This could be one of the reasons why Alexander has received such a spotlight in recent weeks.
As time goes on we could be seeing even more from Cedric Alexander. At least that is what is likely to happen if Paul Heyman remains in an influential position backstage in the company.
