Former WWE Writer Changes His Mind About Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has experienced quite a turnaround in his character since his WWE return after injury. Now he is laying people out with Stunners and speaking his mind on the microphone. KO has certainly seemed to win over one person who was famously against him.

Vince Russo used to come down on Kevin Owens all the time. He called him lazy and out of shape and encouraged other fans to feel the same way. That sucked because Kevin Owens has always brought it in the squared circle and he’s really in good shape, he’s just always had a gut as he’s not ashamed to admit.

Now it seems like Russo has changed his tune in a big way. The former WWE, WCW, and TNA writer recently sent out a rather surprising tweet where he praised this new chapter in Kevin Owens’ career.

I have become a fan of @FightOwensFight over time. I think people really get confused when I critique a “Character” and not the person themselves. I just felt like KO was really mispackaged from the jump. My criticism was towards @WWE Creative-not Owen’s ability.

Kevin Owens is winning over a lot of fans and it’s good to know that Vince Russo is one of them. Now maybe others will follow suite and get aboard as Kevin Owens approaches his next challenge and looks to win the King Of The Ring tournament.
