Edge Makes WWE Return & Gets Physical At Summerslam

WWE’s Summerslam event took place in Toronto and they obviously still love Edge.

Elias was holding a concert during the kickoff show where he was making fun of Summerslam’s host city with one joke after another. Then Edge ran out to put a stop to his insulting song.

The Rated R Superstar got a huge pop from the Toronto crowd and Edge took an extra long look at the packed house as he got in the ring. Then the WWE Hall Of Famer hit Elias with a Spear before promptly leaving.

Edge had to retire early due to neck issues. He has said for years that he will never wrestle again, but apparently, he’s still down to deliver a Spear if needed. This is notable because it’s the first time Edge has gotten physical in a WWE ring in a very long time.

This is likely a one-off appearance for the Summerslam crowd, but it wouldn’t hurt our feelings one bit if The Rated R Superstar returned on a more regular basis.
