Roman Reigns’ Mystery Attacker Possibly Revealed

Roman Reigns was supposed to issue a challenge to conclude SmackDown Live this week. They didn’t have much time to do so, but they also didn’t let Roman say anything. Instead, someone arranged to have a huge piece of the set fall on him backstage.

This attempted murder of Roman Reigns might look like Braun Strowman’s handiwork, but some fans are thinking differently. Because Buddy Murphy could be the culprit.

Murphy is one of the best talents on SmackDown Live that isn’t being used. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion made a jump to the blue brand, and they haven’t done much with him.

Some eagle-eyed fans spotted who they believe to Murphy in the background of SmackDown Live’s closing moments just before the scaffolding fell on The Big Dog. His back was to the camera, but as you can see, it appears to have been Murphy by the shirt he was wearing.

We’ll have to see who arranged this “accident” backstage that nearly killed Roman Reigns. If it was Buddy Murphy then that could be an excellent spot for him to be in as he fights to get noticed on the blue brand.
