AEW’s First-Ever Match On TNT REVEALED

AEW will begin airing on TNT starting on October 2nd, but now we know a little bit more about what to expect. Because AEW announced their first match today.

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes will be competing in this first match which makes sense. He was one of the building blocks of the promotion, but he didn’t do it alone. He also won’t be competing by himself in AEW’s first match on TNT.

Cody Rhodes will be facing Sammy Guevara in the first-ever AEW match on TNT. This is fitting because Sammy Guevara technically wrestled in the first-ever AEW singles match against Kip Sabian during the Double Or Nothing Buy-In show.

We will have to wait and see what is next for AEW as they continue to approach their television debut on TNT, but now we know what the first match will be.
