WWE’s live events vary in terms of quality, with some fans feeling like they didn’t get the product they desired, and others having a lot of fun. Either way, though, it’s quite clear to see that a lot of the superstars tend to enjoy them.
Live events provide the guys and girls in the back with a chance to try something new, test out a new feud/rivalry, or even have a bit of comedic fun with the crowd. That may sound like a pantomime more so than anything else, but we quite enjoy it.
One man who also enjoys the atmosphere created by WWE’s live events is Seth Rollins, who is set to go head to head with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in an attempt to win back the Universal Championship.
A lot of neutral fans will probably use this as fuel for their agenda against Rollins, with many believing that he is just a WWE shill – which is a sentiment that has come on in recent months after his defensive comments about the company on social media.
On top of that, it’s interesting to see that WWE is still pushing forward with having Seth & Becky Lynch be in segments/matches together.
While it’s not exactly uncommon to see real life couples be partnered up with one another on WWE programming (or at live events), the conclusion of their storyline with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans seemed to indicate that they’d be going their separate ways – on screen, that is.
