Ricochet Pulled Due To Infection — Big Segment With DX Cancelled

WWE’s Raw Reunion is now in the past, but one person that fans were really looking toward to seeing mix it up with legends from the past was Ricochet who is arguably one of the biggest stars in WWE’s future. The One And Only was not at the Raw Reunion last night, but it’s not for lack of trying.

Dave Meltzer reports that Ricochet is suffering from an elbow infection which is why he was unable to work the event. This is unfortunate, but the obviously didn’t want to put Ricochet out there when he couldn’t wrestle.

“Ricochet has an elbow infection so the whole spot that Seth did with AJ Styles, that was all Ricochet. The whole idea of the DX thing, and again, I do not know this was a Paul Heyman idea, but I know that Ricochet is one of his projects and I know the idea of the show was for the show, one of the big ideas was that Ricochet gets a big rub in the end from DX. Where they endorse him and they say he’s the next big thing. That is what that segment was supposed to be.”

In the end, Seth Rollins was the one hanging with DX in the ring while they put him over. It sucks that Ricochet had to miss the show, but maybe it’s better off that Ricochet didn’t do that segment.

Because fans tend to reject anyone who WWE is obviously trying to push. So the last thing Ricochet needs is for his momentum to be stopped because fans refuse to cheer for him even though they might want to, but they don’t because that’s what Vince McMahon wants. Hopefully, Ricochet heals up fast.
