USA Network is obviously very excited about tonight’s big RAW Reunion special because they are replaying the episode on two consecutive nights.
WWE RAW used to get replays, but then USA Network stopped the practice. We’re not sure if they will keep this up, but it won’t hurt to air the big RAW Reunion special as much as possible. After all, it will be loaded with pro wrestling legends and they obviously want to capitalize on this fact.
Of course, RAW will air live on the USA Network from 8:00 PM EST to 11:00 PM EST. With no overrun anymore it makes it much easier to block out that time. However, this week USA Network is also going to be replaying the RAW Reunion from 11:45 PM EST to 2:45 AM EST on Monday and then they will air it from 5:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM EST tomorrow as a lead-in before SmackDown Live.
Those combined ratings might go to help USA Network out a lot. If they do really well it’s anyone’s guess whether the network will continue with the replays. After all, they are spending enough money on the show so they might as well get the most out of it.
These replays are also a great reason why WWE needs to book as many big angles on tonight’s show that they can which will carry on to next week’s episode and beyond as they approach Summerslam.
