WWE’s blue brand is debuting on Fox in October and the two companies are doing a lot to prepare a new market for WWE’s programming. They will not only air a special that is intended for non-wrestling fans, but they will also be giving non-wrestling fans plenty of reasons to tune in just to see what they have to offer in their first episode on Fox.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live how big of a show Fox is planning for WWE’s debut on their network. It appears that we should just be expecting the unexpected, but it’s going to be a huge debut episode.

“Everybody that they can get and believe me, they want The Rock — everybody they can get will be on that debut show and it’s gonna be a giant show. They’re probably gonna want to shoot an angle for the next week and we’re talking red carpet, paparazzi, celebrities. They’re gonna try to get sports stars to appear on the show. Major League Baseball, NFL since Fox has the TV rights to both. So that’s the update on the Fox debut. It’s gonna be the biggest WWE show in a long, long time.”

We will have to wait and see who WWE is able to get to appear on their end, but Fox obviously wants the show to be a success as well. After all, they are sinking over $1 billion into SmackDown for the next five years. So Fox is going to use every trick they can including new cameras to help bring interest to SmackDown Live.
