Alexa Bliss hasn’t been feeling well for the past couple of days and she didn’t appear on RAW last night. Instead, Nikki Cross beat the clock for her which ended up turning the SmackDown Women’s Title match at Extreme Rules into a handicap match. However, Bliss wasn’t too far away after all.

Mike Johnson commented on PW Insider Elite audio that Alexa Bliss was, in fact, backstage during RAW last night. She just wasn’t used.

Nikki Cross might have said that Bliss wasn’t there, but that was just to build the storyline and give her a reason to beat the clock for Bliss instead. Things could get interesting once Alexa Bliss is able to react to the match that Nikki Cross picked.

Because it could be very interesting to see how the SmackDown Women’s Title match turns out at Extreme Rules. Although Nikki Cross said that it will be two vs one, we’ve seen this situation result in an unexpected champion before.
