The Rock Has High Praise For Booker T After Posting Great Throwback

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is best known these days for being one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, having worked his way up through the ranks to become one of the most notable faces in the world of acting.

In addition to that, however, The Great One, as we all know, has quite the track record in professional wrestling. During his time with WWE he won multiple world titles, with one of those world title wins coming at the expense of Booker T.

The two feuded over the WCW Championship, and before long, Rock was able to dethrone Booker and claim the belt as his own. As it turns out, he was a pretty big fan of the match in question.

A lot of WWE superstars both past and present have said something along the same line as this, with the implication being that Booker T is one of the best workers of his generation – and one of the most underrated, too.

In addition to being a figurehead within World Championship Wrestling, he was also able to make a successful transition into WWE. As we all know, that wasn’t exactly the easiest thing to do at the time, with a lot of WCW stars failing to make much of an impact during their respective tenures with the company.

In the present day Booker is still highly thought of as one of the greatest superstars of all-time, and it’s nice to see someone with the stature of The Rock give him the credit that he deserves.
