Paige Defends Her Brothers After Claims They’d Get Into WWE Due To Nepotism

Paige’s family lives and breathes professional wrestling, and we aren’t exactly breaking any news by saying that. It’s been documented in Fighting with my Family as well as the original Channel 4 documentary in the United Kingdom, and it’s also been on display for all who have watched them compete over the years.

Alas, while Paige may have been able to thrive in WWE prior to her retirement due to injury, her family hasn’t quite had the same luck on the big stage.

After Paige pushed for the idea of her brothers being signed to NXT UK recently, a fan decided to claim that nepotism could be at play here with Paige using her pull to help the duo eventually get a job in WWE.

As would be the case with most people, Paige wasn’t pleased with the insinuation – and can you really blame her? Every single member of her family continues to work incredibly hard within their own right in pro wrestling, and they deserve their shot at the top.

Whether or not they’re going to get it is a different matter altogether, but at the very least, they should be analysed based on their own work ethic as opposed to what their sister has been able to accomplish in the past.

Paige has never been afraid to stand up for both herself and her family on social media, and in this instance, all we can do is applaud her for putting this negative fan back in his place.
