Kalisto’s time in WWE has certainly been intriguing, especially since he was promoted to the main roster on a full-time basis a few years back.
He’s gone from being the talk of the show at TLC with an insane spot off the top of the ladder, to being heavily ridiculed for a series of botches both in the ring and on the microphone. Such is the nature of live television, right?
Along the way, though, he’s been able to have more singles success than most fans may realise. In addition to his time with the Lucha Dragons and Lucha House Party, he is also a former United States Champion and Cruiserweight Champion.
Following a few tweets from fans, it seems as if Kalisto is now entertaining the idea of making a run for Finn Balor and the Intercontinental Championship.
In terms of the quality of the matches, it kind of goes without saying that these two would be able to tear the house down if given the right amount of time. A lot of people probably think this is more of a RAW or SmackDown Live kind of match than a pay-per-view one, but there are a few interesting ways they could actually go with this.
We’ve long since felt like the Lucha House Party could work really well as a heel faction, and if that turn leads to a rivalry with Finn, it could be a nice ‘fight against the odds’ kind of storyline for The Demon.
