AEW Fyter Fest just ended, but fans are already looking forward to Fight For The Fallen on July 13th. That Jacksonville event will be followed up by AEW All Out on August 31st. This is where Cody Rhodes is going to probably get his revenge.

After fighting to a time-limit draw, Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin gave it all they had. Then Shawn Spears entered the ring and destroyed Cody’s head with a chair shot. It was supposed to be gimmicked, but it did not turn out gimmicked at all with Cody’s head covered in blood.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Cody Rhodes vs Shawn Spears is slated for All Out. Since Cody is already booked in a tag team match with his brother Dustin against The Young Bucks on July 13th, he is facing Spears at the first chance he can after Fight For The Fallen.

It will be interesting to see how AEW escalates this storyline until then because they certainly got things kicked off in a very violent and bloody fashion that really caught a lot of attention.
