Brock Lesnar is still The Beast In The Bank which means he can make a return at any time and cash in his guaranteed contract for any title match he likes. That doesn’t answer how long he’ll be around WWE in order to do so.
Dave Meltzer said during Wrestling Observer Radio that even though Brock Lesnar has historically liked shorter deals with WWE, he might have signed a longer deal now. Because he’s not going back to UFC and WWE could have offered him a ton of money to secure his services for even longer.
“I just know he’s been signing short term deals, but he’s been offered really good money so he may have signed a longer-term deal because he ain’t signing with UFC. I think that’s real clear right now is that he’s not going.”
“I don’t know if he was ever gonna go [to UFC]. He may have been using it for leverage. I mean I never took it seriously that he was going I mean no matter what, I mean I never did.”
Brock Lesnar is going to sit at home and keep doing his day-to-day beastly things until WWE needs him. Perhaps Lesnar already knows when he’s scheduled to come back, but it will certainly be a big surprise, especially for the champion at the time. Because whenever Brock Lesnar decides to make a return he can always cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase which is very likely.
