AEW’s next event will be Fyter Fest on June 29th. The event will be free to stream on B/R Live, but it might be a very good idea to sign up now so they know how many people to expect. Either way, we will be providing extensive coverage of the event here at Ringside News.

They announced a rather interesting match this week for the Fyter Fest show. This fell in line with Tony Khan revealing that AEW will be focusing on an AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament when they debut on TNT.

SCU members Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky will face Private Party and Best Friends for a very big opportunity. The winner of their triple threat match during the Fyter Fest Buy In kickoff show will get another match at AEW All Out against yet-to-be-named opponents. The winner of that match on August 31st in Chicago will get a bye in the first round of the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament.

This seems simple enough, but a graphic that was released to promote the match confused a lot of fans by the wording which described this match. Fightful Select reports that FITE actually released this graphic early and AEW isn’t very happy this confusing promotional material was released before it received a final polish.

Those we spoke to within AEW this afternoon weren’t particularly thrilled about the graphic being out, but didn’t specify if that was in relation to the rules or the graphic grammar.

This is a very small hiccup in AEW’s plan and if this is the biggest blunder that the new company has experienced so far then they’re doing pretty good by other companies’ standards.

You can check out the two graphics below to see the small error in the match’s stipulation as they simply placed an “or” where it didn’t belong.
