Tony Khan and The Elite have been working hard to make sure that they have everything set up for their upcoming events and that will include plenty of television tapings as well.
Khan recently sat down with the Steve Austin Show where he confirmed some details about AEW’s television show that fans will be interested to know. Producing a weekly live television show might be a task, but AEW is apparently up to it.
The AEW President confirmed to The Rattlesnake that AEW’s television show will be a live two-hour weekly show. He couldn’t say exactly when they are going to start, but that’s being nailed down. We have all heard October as a possible start-date, but we don’t know officially when it will be just yet.
Khan also confirmed that there will be a big AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament once the show does kick off. There is also a big match at Fyter Fest where the winner will face another team at AEW All Out in order to win a chance at having a bye in the first round.
The AEW television show will need fresh crowds every week so they will be traveling around. The show will be a touring operation as they broadcast from a different city each week. Khan even confirmed that they will be taking the show internationally eventually as well.
