WWE is doing everything they can in order to make sure that they have a roster of Superstars. With so many options out there it’s important to keep certain people on lockdown and Mike and Maria Kanellis are two Superstars WWE is keeping around.

Mike and Maria signed new five-year contracts last week and Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio how good those deals are. He remarked how both are making a lot more money on these new contracts due to the competition in the market for experienced talent.

The fact is the Mike and Maria Kanellis know a thing or two about the indies. There has been a huge resurgence in the indie wrestling scene since they signed WWE contracts too. Now it looks like they’ll be around WWE for another half a decade instead of leaving.

Hopefully, after signing them both to substantial five-year deals WWE will start giving Mike and Maria a bit more focus.
