Cesaro scared several fans last week as he went limping to the back with some help from WWE officials last week on RAW. This was after Ricochet nailed him with his 630 and landed on Cesaro’s knee.

Dave Meltzer explained on Wrestling Observer Radio that Cesaro was actually working everyone after his match on RAW last week. He knew where Ricochet landed and wanted to make sure that people were kept guessing.

“Cesaro wasn’t hurt, that was all — so the deal with that was he saw the way Ricochet landed and thought that he could get people to be believe that he was injured and so he limped all the way back to get people to believe it. There might have been something really minor, but I was told it was all sell.”

Cesaro certainly knows how to read a room and then work it at the same time. It’s great that Cesaro wasn’t really injured. Hopefully, he can stay that way for a long time.
