Andrade Releases Statement Following The Passing Of His Mother

It’s been an exceptionally difficult time for WWE superstar Andrade, following the recent passing of his mother. The news came through in the hours following Super Showdown, with the former NXT Champion taking some time away from the road as a result.

There has been a great deal of support which has come in from every corner of the globe, which kind of tells you all that you need to know about the positive side of professional wrestling and its fanbase.

Now, Andrade has taken the time to release a brief statement as he prepares to step back inside the squared circle.

Andrade is widely considered to be one of the most exciting young talents in WWE today, and you won’t find all too many folks who would disagree with that sentiment. As of late he has been actively pursuing the Intercontinental Championship, but it’s not yet known as to whether he’ll continue to do so upon returning.

It seems like he’ll continue to portray a heel, as he and Zelina Vega are one of the best partnerships going right now. In real life, of course, Charlotte Flair is his off-screen partner, with Andrade being sure to thank her specifically for all of her support during this difficult time.

We can’t even begin to imagine the sort of emotions that he must’ve gone through in the last few weeks, but thankfully, he’ll now be able to focus on doing what he does best: performing for his legions of adoring fans.
