Goldberg’s match against The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown did not turn out the way he wanted it to at all. In fact, some fans have panned it heavily. However, you can never say never in WWE.

Although it’s debatable whether they should have stopped the match after Goldberg started bleeding, they did carry on. So you have to give credit to Goldberg for at least attempting to finish the match as planned. However, it didn’t have the greatest results. Thankfully, nobody was hurt after Goldberg suffered a concussion in Jeddah.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider commented about the possibility of Goldberg returning to the ring for another match. Although he might not need to, it isn’t out of the question that the face of WCW might want to make another return just to correct his most recent performance.

I can [see] Goldberg wanting to come back and having at least one more match so he’s happy with the final bout.  It sucks he got hurt against Undertaker, but I respect that he tried to will himself to give the audience what he wanted them to get.

Goldberg’s critics came out in full-force after his last WWE match and that included Matt Riddle. He very well might want to prove them all wrong and step back in the ring. There are a lot of Superstars that Goldberg could mix it up with that might be a good fit for him as well.

However, if Goldberg does ever come back for another match it might not be a good idea to expect even a five-minute contest from him. Because historically his most well-received matches have included a spear and a jackhammer with him winning in under two minutes.
