WWE has five brands right now, but only the main roster has been brought to Saudi Arabia so far. With the way the company is expanding they might be looking into expanding that influence as well.
We previously reported that WWE was rumored to be heavily considering holding the NXT TakeOver: XXV special in Saudi Arabia this year. That wold have made the Super ShowDown a two-night event. However it didn’t happen.
While speaking to Ring_Rules, Triple H was asked about the possibility of holding a Saudi Arabia TakeOver event in the future. His answer wasn’t no as he confirmed that they are still considering how to better serve the fans by expanding their NXT empire.
“The goal is to be able to find talent here [in Saudi Arabia], recruit talent here, train talent, and to build something on the ground here. Whether that’s bringing an NXT TakeOver here or that’s building a brand here will yet to be determined.”
“It just depends I think on how quickly we can find talent and how quickly we can train them.”
It sounds like Triple H was hinting more at building a Saudi Arabian WWE Performance Center than holding a TakeOver event, but everything seems to be on the table right now.
