WWE Super ShowDown is in the books and there are plenty of matches that are still making fans wonder what WWE’s plan could be following the big Saudi Arabia show.

Dave Meltzer commented about this on Wrestling Observer Radio where he revealed that he was told WWE changed the end of Lars Sullivan’s match against The Lucha House Party from a one-man destruction to what we ended up seeing. However, their reason fro making this change is yet to be seen.

“I know that in the Lars Sullivan the finish got changed. The original thing was whatever would theoretically make sense was in fact, what they were going to do and why that changed, I have no idea.”

“I heard they may be running the match back in San Jose.”

It was said that there is no real logic to WWE’s booking in this instance. Meltzer was asked why WWE made certain decisions and he was told “there’s no logic here.”

Therefore, it looks like WWE hasn’t given up entirely on Lars Sullivan, in fact, we should probably just expect more of the same from WWE’s booking.
