Tommaso Ciampa showed up at the NXT TakeOver: XXV kickoff show and he had some great news to share. He is now 100% cleared for non-contact activity so his recovery is going tremendously well just twelve weeks after his surgery.

PW Insider reports why Tommaso Ciampa was brought in to take part in the 25th TakeOver event. Triple H did this so Ciampa wouldn’t be left out since he contributed so much to the success of past TakeOver specials.

At this time there is no timetable for Tommaso Ciampa’s return, but he will continue to work hard and make sure that his time away from the ring is as minimal as possible.

It was still great to see Tommaso Ciampa, especially in such great spirits during NXT TakeOver: XXV even though he couldn’t compete.
