Rey Mysterio’s programs with Samoa Joe haven’t had the best results at all. Their WrestleMania match ended in around a minute and their match at Money In The Bank was called early due to a bloody nose from Samoa Joe. However, it was what happened after the match that really did the most damage.

Mysterio actually walked into Money In The Bank with an injury according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, the post-match uranges from Joe fully separated his shoulder.

Rey Mysterio will be vacating the United States Title on RAW next week. This means that his injury is indeed legit unlike AJ Styles’ current worked injury.

It is also reported that, “the fact he’s vacating the title would indicate he’ll be out of action for a while.” This might not be the best sign for Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio’s son Dominick was involved in his father’s stories as well, but now it looks like WWE might have to either wait on Mysterio’s return or perhaps, that storyline will simply be scrapped at this point.
