Jon Moxley is not thinking about WWE anymore because he left them behind. He still wants to best for the product because his wife and friends are still there, but he is very happy with AEW.

WWE gave Dean Ambrose an extremely weird public address when word got out that he was not re-signing a contract with the company. This is something they never did before and he was quite open to talk about it on Talk Is Jericho.

Mox also discussed the big send-off that WWE gave him via a The Shield’s Final Chapter WWE Network special. It was an interesting way to do it, but Moxley revealed to Chris Jericho that WWE didn’t pay him like he was the start of the show at all.

“Yeah I mean you know how much I got paid for that last show I did? This is a house show they literally turned into a special. They flew in writers and camera men and everything put it on the Network basically for me. $500. Got paid $500 for that sucker.”

“I can just imagine Vince and Carrano and them just like ‘what do we pay?’ 500 bucks! Which is like the minimum that’s what you get to show up and not work. If you show up to TV and they don’t use you, you get $500. That’s what extras get. That’s like the minimum. 500 bucks for a Network special, come on. I thought about calling them for a second, but I thought naw it’s just funnier. I actually like it, I should frame that check.”

Chris Jericho brought up how he and Dean Ambrose once worked a street fight match and they each got paid $750. Moxley remembered this and mentioned how Jericho quipped that he doesn’t get off his couch for that little of a payday.

Mox doesn’t seem to be that upset with his final payday from WWE. Because he still gets his royalties from his time as part of the Hounds Of Justice.
