When fans think and talk about some of the best prospects in WWE today, you’d have to imagine that Andrade and Ali are two of the names that come to mind.
The former NXT & 205 Live stand-outs have been thriving since making their way up to the main roster, and it certainly seems like SmackDown Live is the perfect place for them to both grow and develop further as singles competitors.
Their match last night was entertaining and while some fans weren’t happy about Andrade losing, it certainly still feels like WWE has some big plans for him in the not so distant future – and the same goes for Ali.
Andrade managed to do a good job of teasing a future feud between the two men, whilst also reminding fans that he has a pretty big match coming up in a few weeks time when he takes on Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship.
The post-WrestleMania run of shows from WWE often creates and produces new stars for the main event scene, and it’ll be intriguing to see whether or not Andrade is given the title or is elevated to the WWE Championship picture.
Ali, on the other hand, seems to slowly be rebuilding the momentum he lost during his injury. You’d have to imagine that, eventually, he’ll get the shot at Kofi Kingston – which is a story that builds itself given that Kofi’s rise to the top of the card started because of the injury that put Ali on the shelf.
